¹úÃñ²ÊƱ and Halifax Regional Police have put in place a multi-initiative plan ahead of ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ’s homecoming weekend (September 27 – 30) to encourage safe and responsible off-campus student behaviour.

A ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ research team has coordinated an unprecedented scientific experiment with a number of partners, including the Canadian military, to study North Atlantic right whale (NARW) activity in the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Today ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ welcomed Premier Stephen McNeil to campus, where he announced a $10 million investment as part of the university’s $38.5-million Performing Arts Campaign to revitalize and expand the ¹úÃñ²ÊƱ Arts Centre.

A university-community partnership aimed at encouraging participation in STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) professions by African Nova Scotian youth has been awarded federal funding.
